Quality & Performance Management

We strive for 100% client and candidate satisfaction in all our assignments. Our systems, processes and communications are strictly monitored so that we meet the highest standards of professional performance and ethical behaviour.

Client satisfaction

The most obvious measure of client satisfaction is - how happy are they with the results? There are lots of opportunities for our clients to give us feedback: as well as keeping in touch at every stage of the assignment and managing the process right up until the candidate is safely in post, we maintain contact afterwards checking periodically that things are running smoothly.

But one vital key performance indicator that we monitor is the ratio of repeat business to new business. Consistently, more than two thirds of our assignments come from clients who have used us before. Nurturing strong relationships makes for mutually beneficial outcomes, and some of our client relationships go back over ten years.

The Search and Selection marketplace is lively and competitive, so the fact that companies of all sizes, structures and sectors entrust us time and again with recruiting their key managers tells us that the quality of our services and performance is valued. But we’re not complacent - we regularly review our approach and listen to what our clients have to say about us.

Another significant indication of appreciation from our clients is their willingness to give 'word of mouth' recommendations to colleagues, contacts and suppliers. We have gained several new clients in this way, and are delighted that our clients have confidence in our ability to deliver.

Candidate satisfaction

Ensuring that candidates have the best possible experience when involved in a Dickinson Smith Buss recruitment assignment is also very important to us. For that reason, every candidate interviewed by a Dickinson Smith Buss consultant is asked to give us feedback about his or her experience via a confidential questionnaire. This is sent within a couple of weeks after an assignment being completed so that we can directly address any issues that arise and put in place, if necessary, corrective measures for the future.
